Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Nigeria, is a key academic and research institution advancing Planetary, Space Science, and Technology (PSST) in support of national and continental development goals. Located in Kaduna and affiliated with the Nigerian Air Force, AFIT delivers postgraduate education and applied research through MSc and PhD programs aligned with space systems, satellite technology, remote sensing, and aerospace engineering. As a partner within the PAP2SN consortium, AFIT contributes to capacity building, academic mobility, and multidisciplinary research that addresses critical challenges including climate resilience, disaster monitoring, sustainable resource management, and national security, while strengthening Nigeria’s participation in global space science initiatives.
